Top Derivatives and New Issues

The "Top Derivatives and New Issues" widget returns the (10) "best" derivatives for an underlying. You can decide by which criteria to sort or search for derivatives. You can search for certificates as well as leveraged products.

In this example, you see the 10 top certificates for the underlying "DAX", sorted in descending order by the percentage change compared to the previous day's close.

The fields and columns of the "Top Derivatives and New Issues" widget in detail:

Field

Description

Select underlying

Use the integrated quick search to search and select an underlying. The name of the current underlying is shown at the top of the widget after selection.

Alternatively, you can add a (new) underlying by dragging it from securities lists to the widget.

Select derivative type

You can select the following derivative types via the first drop-down list to the right of the instrument search:

  • Certificates (default setting)
  • Leveraged products

The name of the currently selected type is shown on the (reduced) drop-down list.

Select criterion

The third drop-down list shows the following criteria:

  • Tops (default setting)
    The top derivatives are shown in descending order sorted by the percentage change against the previous day's close, that is, the instrument with the biggest performance gain is shown at the top.
  • Flops
    The top derivatives are shown in ascending order sorted by the percentage change against the previous day's close, that is, the instrument with the biggest performance decline is shown at the top.
  • Top trades
  • Top volume
  • Top turnover
  • New issues
  • Subscription (only for certificates and knock-outs)

The name of the currently selected criterion is shown on the (reduced) drop-down list.

"ISIN" column

The ISIN of the derivative.

"Name" column

The name of the derivative.

"Issuer" column

The abbreviated name of the issuer of the derivative.

Point to an abbreviation to see the full issuer name.

"Price" column

The most price of the derivative.

"%" column

[only for the "Tops" and "Flops" categories]

The percentage change against the previous day's close of the derivative.

The list of top derivatives is sorted by this column for the "Tops" and "Flops" categories.

"Cum. trades" column

[only for the "Top trades" criterion]

The number of trades on the current trading day.

The list of top derivatives is sorted by this column for the "Top Trades" criterion in descending order.

"Cum. volume (qty.)" column

[only for the "Top volume" category]

The volume quanitity on the current trading day.

The list of top derivatives is sorted by this column for the "Top volume" criterion in descending order.

"Cum. volume" column

[only for the "Top turnover" category]

The turnover on the current trading day.

The list of top derivatives is sorted by this column for the "Top turnover" category in descending order.

"Issue date" column

[only for the "Hist. IPO" and "IPO" criteria]

The issue date of the derivative.

The list of top derivatives is sorted by this column for the "Hist. IPO " criterion in descending order, that is, the newest derivatives appear at the top of the table.

"Issue price" column

[only for the "Subscription" criterion]

The issue price of the derivative.

"Subscription end date" column

[only for the "Subscription" criterion]

The last date when the derivative can be subscribed.

The list of top derivatives is sorted by this column for the "New issues" category in descending order, that is, the newest derivatives appear at the top of the table.
