Record account posting

In addition to buy and sell transactions described in Add position to portfolio and Sell position, you can also record a record various other posting types. The postings without an associated security also lead to account movements.

To record a posting in a portfolio:

  1. Go to the "Portfolio" widget.
  2. If you have several portfolios, you can select a portfolio from the corresponding drop-down list.
    The portfolio opens in the widget in the overview or in the previously selected view.
  3. Select the "Cash account" view from the second drop-down list in the upper part of the widget. All account movements are listed.
  4. Click the "New posting" button.

  5. Enter the posting amount in the "New posting" dialogue window that appears.
  6. Use the calendar in the "Date" field below to specify the posting date.
  7. Select the posting type from the corresponding drop-down list.
  8. In the "Note" input field, you can enter a comment on the posting.
  9. Confirm your input by clicking "Create".

The posting appears in the list of account postings. The amount is shown in the "Credit" and "Debit columns depending on the posting type.

You can select from the following posting types:

  • Deposit
  • Withdrawal
  • Dividends
  • Interest
  • Fee
  • Buy charges
  • Sell charges
  • Other refund
  • Other charges
  • Postage costs
  • Flat tax (German flat tax on investment income and capital gains)
  • Solidarity surcharge
  • Church tax
  • Limit fee
  • Surplus settlement after split
  • Refunded flat tax
  • Refunded solidarity surcharge
  • Refunded church tax
  • Real estate purchase
  • Real estate sale


Allows you to resubmit the posting of the corresponding row, that is, to edit or delete it.
