Settings in the "Arbitrage" widget

Use the "Widget settings" icon to open the "Settings" dialogue window for configuring the widget.

Alternatively, you can use the "Settings" command in the widget menu.

In the "Arbitrage settings" dialogue window, you can first select the area on the left side for which you want to configure your settings:

"General" area

In the "General" area, you can make the following settings:

  • Enable or disable the push data feed
  • Set sorting interval
    Select the time interval (between 5 and 60 seconds) for updating the sorting of the arbitrage table. With the "Disabled" setting (default), you can switch off the update.

“Column configurator" area

In the "Column configurator" area, you can show or hide the columns of the table. You can use the column configurator to save column configurations individually and set a specific configuration as the default when creating a new widget. See also Show and hide columns of the widgets via the settings and Column configurator.

“Performance columns" area

In the "performance columns" area, you have the option to add (up to 15) new columns to the arbitrage table for performance calculation.

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. On the left side of the arbitrage settings dialogue window, select the “performance columns" area.
  2. In the "Name" input field, you can enter a custom name for the column header of the first custom column. However, this name can also be generated automatically (see the following table with the settings).
  3. Then click the "Settings" button for this column.
  4. Configure the new column. The table below contains descriptions of the individual setting options.
  5. Then click the "Save" button. (Use the "Back" button to exit the settings for the period without saving any changes you may have made).
  6. If you want to add more columns, click the "Add column" button performance columns columns" area and proceed in the same way.
    You can delete your custom columns by using the corresponding "Delete" button.

The settings of the individual performance columns in detail:

General

NameEnter the relevant name for performance columns here.
Automatic namingEnable this setting to automatically generate the name of the column. The name is generate depending on the time periods and start and end times set below.
Selected periodHere, you can see the always updated period of the performance calculation resulting from your settings. This data is not editable here.
Select start date

Date from

Here, you can set a fixed starting date.

To do this, select this check box and then enter the corresponding start date using the calendar integrated into the input field.

The default setting is 1 month into the past.

Relative

Here, you can set a relative starting date.

To do this, select this checkbox and then select the relevant starting time from the drop-down list. The following entries are available:

  • Start of the week
  • Start of the month (default setting)
  • Start of the quarter
  • Start of the year
Period starting from the end date

Here, you have the option to define a calculation period starting from the end date.

To do this, select this checkbox and then first select the relevant period from the drop-down list and then enter the relevant number in the input field. The following periods are available:

  • Days
  • Weeks
  • Months
  • Quarters
  • Years

The default setting is 1 months.

Select end time

Here, you can set a fixed end date.

To do this, select this check box and then enter the corresponding end date using the calendar integrated into the input field.

The current date is set by default.

Now

Here, you have the option of setting the current date as the end date (default setting).

Select this checkbox.

Relative period starting from the end date

Here, you can set the date to the desired end time relative to a date in the past.

To do this, select this checkbox and first select an end date from the upper list. The following entries are available:

  • End of the current week
  • End of the current month
  • End of the current quarter
  • End of the current the year
  • End of the previous week
  • End of the previous month
  • End of the previous quarter
  • End of the previous year

You can then select the period and enter the corresponding number in the input field. The following periods are available:

  • Days
  • Weeks
  • Months
  • Quarters
  • Years

Example

In August 2020, the setting "End of previous quarter" and "2 months" result in the end date "April 30, 2020".

Select the type of display for the performance values. The following variants are available:

  • Absolute (default setting)
  • Percentage [%]
  • Trend icon
  • Visual
Include corporate actions

[Selected by default]

Clear this checkbox to take into account corporate actions incurred during the period in the performance calculation.

Include dividends

[Cleared by default]

Select this checkbox to include dividends paid during the period in the performance calculation.

Decimal places:

Select how many decimal places (from 0 to 5) the performance columns should display.

The default setting is 2 decimal places.
