Filter screens
Specify individual filter criteria for your screens. To do this, follow these steps:
- If necessary, open the corresponding screen.
- Click the "Edit filter" button.
Select the new filters in the filter area on the left side by clicking or dragging and dropping them. On the left side of the dialogue window with the filter selection, you find a search function and the filter categories.
Click the button again to remove the selected filter.
The currently selected filters are highlighted. In addition, the black dots behind the category names indicate that filters of this category are currently selected. If you point to the points, then the number of selected filters of this category is also displayed:
- Now specify the individual filter conditions. Often, you have drop-down lists, sliders and "From - To" input fields to specify the filters.
Under the filter conditions, you will always see the current number of matching search results in the securities universe according to the current filter settings. Add further filters to narrow down the results. The number of results is also shown for each individual filter condition. If a filter condition does not return any results, then this is highlighted by a red upper border and an exclamation mark in the lower right corner. You can open a dialogue window for deleting or readjusting the filter.
In addition, the number of research results is shown next to each entry in the drop-down lists (as illustrated in the image above).
To delete a filter, click the "Delete" button on the right side of the filter conditions: - You can change the order of the individual filter conditions by clicking or touching the double arrows on the left, and then holding and dragging them up or down to the corresponding position.
- Select the "Show in results list" checkbox to add a column to the results list for this filter condition.
- With the "Remove all filters" button, you can remove all filters of the screen (they will still be available in the filter selection, you can reselect them at any time).
